Heroes
The Epic Expansion introduces 6 additional Heroes! Deploy the melee mastery of the Vanguard, find new ways to scout with the Pathfinder, manipulate Proximities and Regions with the Geomancer, target 2 threats at once with the Hunter, banish threats while mimicking other Heroes with the Enchantress, and unleash the rage of the Berserker. Mix and match these unique behaviours into all new tactics and strategies!

For those who purchase the Multiplayer Expansion, the associated Skill Sheets of the 6 new Heroes are included to use in Multiplayer mode!
Loot & Companions
TRIPLE the amount of loot in the game with 32 unique Loot cards! Among these cards is the all-new Companion subtype allowing Heroes to recruit pets, spirits and other characters! When Companions attach to Heroes they provide powerful abilities. However, they also take damage along with their attached Hero! You will need to decide if they are worth healing or whether they can be sacrificed for the greater good.
Quests, Regions & Proximities
All-new Quests will challenge you at a whole new level! Save a child from a dungeon full of demonic traps by using your Heroes to disarm proximities and navigate the Unholy Labyrinth. Defend the Citadel of Kul’dan and take on the Dreadfiend, a gargantuan beast that summons colossal serpent-like creatures to break through the proximities of your castle walls. The Incursion grows darker, but you shall carry the light of the Sanctum’s Justice!
Frequently Asked Questions
Do These Heroes Have Their Own Hero Tokens?
No, these Heroes share the Hero Icons with some of the Heroes from the base game. You can choose any Heroes you want to assemble your party but the only limitation is you cannot choose two Heroes that use the same Hero Icon.
How Do Companions Work?
Companions are a subtype of Loot card and attach to Heroes in the same way. There are two differences. First, Companions will have a SACRIFICE keyword along with a value for damage. Every time a Hero receives damage, all attached Companions also receive 1 damage token. If they receive damage equal to or higher than their SACRIFICE keyword value, the Companion is immediately discarded (along with any damage tokens on the card). The second difference is Companions can be healed. When a Hero with an attached Companion is targeted by a HEAL action, damage may be healed either from the target Hero’s Sanctum Banner or one of the Hero’s attached Companions.
Does The Epic Expansion Work In Solo / Multiplayer?
The Epic Expansion works perfectly well in all game modes.
When Will The Epic Expansion Be Released?
The Epic Expansion will be available as an optional add-on during the Kickstarter launch of Heroes of the Sanctum in early 2024.
