We want to share an important update regarding our upcoming Kickstarter launch — followed by news that reaffirms our commitment to you, especially in uncertain times.
🚀 New Kickstarter Launch Date:
We now plan to launch Season 2 of Heroes of the Sanctum™ on Tuesday, 27th May 2025.
Originally planned for April 29th, we’ve made the decision to delay our launch by four weeks. This wasn’t taken lightly — but after careful consideration, we believe this is the best path forward for both our team and our community.
⚖️ Why the Delay?
The simple answer: to protect our backers.
Ongoing tariff volatility in the United States has created some uncertainty around final fulfilment pricing. Rather than risk confusion or last-minute changes, we’ve chosen to hold the line until we can offer you complete clarity.
In recent news, the United States has imposed tariffs of up to 245% on specific categories of goods imported from China. At present, the tariff applied to tabletop games remains at 145%. While we do not expect another hike to affect our sector, we’ve made the decision to put a safety net in place for our US backers.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard to ensure that whatever happens, you have protection. And now, as we finalise our distribution pipeline, we’re ready to make the following pledge to our players:

Every US backer of our 2025 Kickstarter campaign will be protected under the Sanctum’s 300% US Tariff Guarantee — an industry-leading promise to cover any increase in US import tariffs up to 300%, without passing those costs on to you. Shipping freight rates may vary slightly by region, but any new tariffs up to that threshold will be absorbed entirely by us.
No added charges. Just clarity, confidence, and commitment from the very beginning — and a pledge that, in uncertain times, the Sanctum stands firm.
